How to shrink the Heat shrink wire end caps?
Each heat shrink end cap should be placed around the cable end and heated to 120oC with the use of a soft-flame torch kit. The continuous temperature limit of the product is between -55oC to +100 oC.
Heat Shrink End Caps provide a permanent, flexible and water-resistant barrier, sealing cable ends and providing reliable protection. When heated above 121 ºC (250 ºF) the end caps shrink, forcing melted adhesive to cover the substrate. The adhesive forms a permanent, non-drying, flexible and water resistant bond with a wide variety of rubbers, plastics and metals.
