Shrink tube white
Continuous Operating Temperature:-45℃ to 125℃
Comply with ROHS and REACH, environmental friendly
This heat shrink tubing is environment friendly, flexible, flame-retardant, irradiated crosslinking heat-shrinkable modified polyolefin tubing, this high-reliability heat shrink tubing is widely used for insulation or jacketing of wire harness, strain relief of wire terminations and connections, bundling of wire harness, protection of soldered points, insulation and capsule of electronic components, anti-corrosive protection, identification and color coding, etc.
What are some important specifications to consider when choosing heat shrink tubing?
The maximum diameter of your cable bundle and the temperature range required by your application are both important factors to consider when choosing heat shrink tubing.
If the wire or cable OD changes drastically, the heat shrink ratio is also an important spec to consider so that you get the correct fit for your heat shrinkable tubing.
What’s the process of making heat shrink tubing?
The process for making heat-shrink tubing is as follows: First the material is chosen based on its properties. The material is often compounded with other additives (such as colorants, stabilizers, etc.) depending on the application. A starting tube is extruded from the raw material. Next, the tube is taken to a separate process where it is cross-linked, usually through radiation. The cross-linking creates a memory in the tube. Then the tube is heated to just above the polymer's crystalline melting point and expanded in diameter, often by placing it in a vacuum chamber. While in the expanded state it is rapidly cooled. Later, when heated, the tubing shrinks back to its original extruded size.
