Advantages of double-wall tubing for automobile tubing compared with other methods

- Sep 06, 2019-

Nowadays, most automobile tubing protection uses double-walled tubing for automobile tubing.

In the past, the braking system and fuel system of automobiles were often protected by the impact parts of rocks and frictional parts, usually by rubber sheath or spring protection, but these two methods have great disadvantages.

Rubber sheath protection, because of the gap between rubber sheath and tubing of about 0.5mm, mud can easily penetrate into the gap, and the mud that penetrates into the gap is not easy to dry, on the contrary, it aggravates the corrosion of tubing surface, especially in the northern winter when salt water is often sprayed. Outstanding.

Although spring protection can prevent the impact of gravel, it can cause the friction of spring on the surface of tubing. The problem of tubing wear has occurred before. Now the tubing is coated with organic coatings (PVC, PVD, epoxy resin, etc.) and no protective springs are allowed at all.

Therefore, the above two methods of tubing surface protection have long been eliminated.

In addition, some manufacturers use nylon 11 spiral tube as protection, but there are problems of high cost and complex processing technology.
